Titanium Metallization and Brazing
I need a hermetic ceramic-to-metal seal or feedthrough. Who metallises and brazes it?
What it is
Depositing thin metal layers, typically tungsten or copper, onto a ceramic surface so that filler metal will wet it, then brazing the ceramic to metal hardware. This is how a ceramic becomes part of a hermetic assembly, which it otherwise cannot.

Vacuum brazing is a named service line. Vacuum is the atmosphere titanium brazing requires. SIZE CAVEAT: this is the LARGEST UNIT across a seven-plant network, not the envelope of this particular process at any one site. Re-confirmed 2026-07-30 as 48 feet long and 150,000 pound capacity; the previously recorded '90+ furnaces' count could not be re-confirmed and has been dropped. Ask which plant and which furnace before sizing a part to it.
