Hollow long product, either seamless (extruded or pilger rolled from a hollow) or welded from strip. Sold to outside diameter and wall thickness for tube, or to nominal pipe size for pipe.

Hollow structural sections, tested pipe and conduit. HSS is the structural tubing used in frames and mounts, and is a different product from pressure pipe. Check which you need. Melted in an electric arc furnace from recycled scrap and continuously cast. Nucor states every one of its mills uses this route. Domestic melting is strong evidence for DFARS 252.225-7009, but it is still settled per heat on the mill certificate.
