Domestic EAF melting. No armor specification qualification was confirmed. Re-confirmed 2026-07-30 and corroborated: every Nucor mill melts recycled scrap in an electric arc furnace and continuously casts. DFARS 252.225-7009 status is still settled per heat on the mill certificate.
