I need parts solution treated and aged, or quenched and tempered, to an aerospace specification. Who is accredited for my material?
What it is
Solution treating, aging, annealing, normalizing, quenching and tempering in air, controlled atmosphere or salt. The route for aluminum and most steels, where reactive and refractory metals instead require vacuum.

A NADCAP thermal processing approval belongs to a furnace at a named site, not to the corporate brand. Confirm the plant before qualifying to it.
